6/4/16  I brought 2 paintings to Visions of Vermont this morning for the June juried show and was called in the afternoon that I had won First Place in Oils for my painting, Falls Last Apples.  pretty excited stuff.

my paint buddy, Joyce, and I were at the Hort Farm, S Burlington to paint on Sat.  great day. lovely plants for sale too.  artists were invited to come paint.  Hort Farm Flowering Crabapples.

my latest painting, 3/25/16, FALL'S LAST APPLES

I couldn't decide after I finished it if I liked it or not.  it was painted for a push and pull effect, soft focus background and focused subject.  this is accomplished I think.
someone dropped by this morning and fell in love with it.  maybe I'm on the right track.....
